What is the difference between a Nursing Home and a Hostel?

Hostel Care – (Low Care)

  • Hostel accommodation is primarily for people who find it very difficult to live at home and who require assistance with personal care and daily living tasks.

Nursing Home – (High Care)

  • Nursing Home care is provided for people with a greater degree of frailty who are often in need of continuous nursing care.
